Famous Hair is a hair and beauty lounge based in London, initially created in 2016 by a mother and son passionate about bringing Afro-Caribbean hair styling to the Bromley area.

Famous Hair contacted us for a rebrand and refurbishment of their old Wixsite.

Famous Hair still wanted to retain the star in their original logo but still allowed us to create something unique, professional, yet, outstanding. In addition, we wanted the font used to be the prominent face of the logo, so we sought to use one that had a unique element but was bold. The fond Federo, known for its sophistication, was used as the predominant piece of the logo, with the star implemented to give a bespoke feel to the logo. Lastly, we changed the original colours of Famous Hairs logo to gold, offering it a more premium and luxurious feel, which is what Famous wanted to go for.

 

Web Design

The Result

After we gave Famous a fresh new look, our crafty Web Designers got to work to create Famous their desired website. We wanted to prioritise the seamlessness of booking an appointment, so we decided to go for a one-page website that Famous loved. We determined this would make it easy for users to find all information about Famous and make a booking. Where Famous were finding it hard for their customers to book appointments, the fully responsive website we created for them increased their bookings by 147%, leading to more than 270 bookings month on month for their Hair salon.

The Challenge & Result

Turnhome turned to us to create a modern, minimalistic property logo with an edge of tech, so we sought to design a logo that embodied this. Our designers decided to use a house as the centre point of the logo with an arrow pointing inwards, simply but professionally demonstrating ‘Turnhome.’ The typeface used for the wordmark was ‘Walkway’; we believed this fit the edge of tech and contemporary feel Turnhome was adamant on.

The Roundtable entrusted us with their rebranding. They wanted to retain the sophistication of their current logo but implement a more modern and professional feel to their brand, so our crafty brand designers got to work and made it happen.
We wanted to keep the logo clean and minimalistic, which was a challenge because of the many words associated with the brand. After bouncing several ideas, we concluded by using the primary word as the prominent piece for the logo. In addition, we decided to use the font Cinzel for this piece as it merges a contemporary and premium feel, which fits their brand.

Tabitha Childcare contacted us about a rebranding. They needed a modern logo that depicted precisely what they did. So we created children’s illustrations to capture the essence of a nursery while maintaining their brand colours to sustain their image. We chose to continue using a light pastel purple for their logo as it represents delicateness, creativity and ambition, fitting with Tabitha Childcare’s personality. In addition, the typeface Jua we used for their logo offers a playful feel with its round curves, which we knew would work well for them.

J Rose Kingdom (JRK) – A premium hair & beauty brand with a focus on providing luxury hair products that bring out the inner ‘queen’ in women.

JRK Hair trusted us to recreate its brand image and identity. Their old logo didn’t offer the sophistication and royal feel that the brand wanted. The meaning behind the brand is that every woman deserves to feel like majesty with their hair, and so JRK wanted us to capture that essence of royalty within the logo. Our team listened to their needs and designed a bespoke, minimalistic logo that depicted the royal personality of JRK but was also modern. In addition, the serif typeface used and isolating the initials from the wordmark helped offer this.

Our team were tasked to design a professional brand logo for the property company ADK as part of their rebrand. The team over at ADK wanted us to use the letters’ ADK’ and fuse them together, creating a modern but professional feel. So our team got to the drawing board and carefully crafted a logo which interlocked all the initials of ADK, delivering a groundbreaking, industry-stamping, professional property logo for the company. The two typeface families used for this specific logo were Montserrat and Suranna. Suranna gave the sophistication of the logo, while Monsterrat offered the modern feel and personality of ADK.

Kofi tasked us to create a logo to convey his personal brand. He wanted a minimal but professional logo that captured his initials K & A. Considering Kofi’s tech background, we wanted to keep the logo professional & modern whilst maintaining that futuristic edge! So our team of creatives decided to use the typeface family Valorant which gave the logo a ‘technological’ feel, interlocking his initials to design a bespoke and one-of-a-kind logo which he completely adored.

The Challenge & Result

Dias Design challenged us to create a logo drawing inspiration from the Yin Yang symbol but incorporating the ‘d’ for Dias Design. We used the grid method to create a perfect but uniquely crafted letter’ d’; with the Yin Yang symbol in mind, we curved the d, giving the logo a smooth and complete identity. Geo Sans Light Font was used as it tends to increase the uniqueness and appearance of projects, so using this font gave the distinctiveness we were looking for, which was a complimentary choice by our designers.

Kwaku Homes is Property Development Company based in London also offering cleaning and project management services. It was founded by Ethan Hammond in 2021 to create luxury feeling homes in South London.

Kwaku Homes requested that we create a clean, minimalistic, but professional logo for their newly found property business. The team over at Kwaku Homes wished to use a typeface which had a pristine and contemporary finish. In addition, they sought to emulate the colour palette of their old logo (Navy Blue and Yellow-gold) and create a similar version which consisted of their brand’s initials’ K & H’.

Our team selected typefaces that offer a professional but warm and homely feel. For example, the Noto Serif Display font used for the letters K & H allows for a modern yet sophisticated look, and the Montserrat font used for the words’ Kwaku Homes’ delivers a more welcome feel to the logo.

Mel’s Meals, a popular African & Caribbean Private Catering company, challenged us to boost their brand presence, engage their existing community and increase their client base. Our team set out to build a large, loyal online community eager to acquire their services.

After conducting our initial social media audit, we found their key missing ingredient – creative ideation and quality content production. As a result, our team of experts launched their TikTok channel, bolstered their engagement, established their online community and implemented an aggressive Reels strategy.
